Gage Edward Goes on a Steakhouse Date — After Newly Single Jeff Lewis Confesses Panic About Dining Solo at Steakhouses
Jeff Lewis and Gage Edwards are each coping differently with their split.
Amid Jeff Lewis' split from his longtime partner Gage Edward, the Flipping Out designer confessed to a relatable concern regarding his return to single life: anxiety about going out solo.
Specifically, he said that he was feeling scared off from going to one of his preferred restaurants, the steakhouse Ruth's Chris. "I really want to go to Ruth’s Chris because I love the butter steaks," he confessed while announcing the news of the couple's split. "And I thought, well, A — I'm probably going to be by myself. Which is fine. But B — I think I’m going to wear a disguise. I want to go there... what if I just wear a cap and glasses?"
Now Gage is already dating again, Jeff revealed during the February 5 episode of his Radio Andy show Jeff Lewis Live. And it turns out that on his first romantic outing after the split, Gage and his date took to Mastro's in Beverly Hills on Saturday, February 2.
Mastro's steakhouse.
The Beverly Hills restaurant on posh Canon Drive is a favorite among celebs and Real Housewives. (And newlywed Christina El Moussa actually said Mastro's inspired her entire wedding's look and feel.)
On the menu: such dishes as an 18-ounce boneless ribeye priced at $60, and Alaskan king crab legs priced at $70 per pound.
