Carson Kressley and Thom Filicia Rely on Armchairs to Reboot a Room

If a man’s home is his castle, then his lounge chair must definitely be his throne. So was the case in Brooklyn on this week’s episode of Get a Room with Carson & Thom (tune in on Saturdays at 10/9c!). Our nimble design duo Carson Kressley and Thom Filicia were tasked with giving a complete overhaul to the parlor floor of Migdalia and Attika’s brownstone in Brooklyn. The problem was they had to convince husband Attika it was time to part with his beloved leather armchair. 

“I love this chair, nothing is wrong with it,” he pleaded, putting the pair in a bit of a bind. But Migdalia was dead set on getting rid of it. “If we don’t get Attika on board with the change, Migdalia is going to kill Carson,” fretted Thom. “Or at least mess up my hair,” Carson added. 

To get Attika to see the light they took him to a furniture superstore in New Jersey and let him try out several new chairs until, like Goldilocks, he found the one that was just right — a stunning studded leather armchair in an alluring shade of chartreuse that just so happened to be very comfortable. The team took two back to Brooklyn, and the rest is history.
