Emily Blunt and John Krasinski Just Paid $11M to Be Neighbors with Matt Damon in Brooklyn

Matt Damon made international headlines last week for buying Brooklyn's most expensive apartment, a sprawling penthouse in the newly refurbished Standish apartment building in Brooklyn Heights that came with a price tag of $16.74 million. And while everyone is still reeling from that real estate news, word now comes that Matt will have some high-profile new neighbors!

According to The Wall Street Journal, actors Emily Blunt and John Krasinski have also purchased two adjacent places in the building, though at a comparatively modest $11 million. Emily and John's new pads take up an entire floor of the Standish, which was once a hotel, and there's been speculation that they might renovate in order to combine the two units to make one big lavish abode.

While sizes of their apartments haven't been listed publicly, TMZ reported that there's an entire 10th floor unit in the building that's 5,000 square feet.

The Standish is a prominent building that's famous in its own right; it was where Clark Kent lived in the Superman comic book series, making it the perfect place for a modern-day Mary Poppins!
