Nate Berkus Is Selling His Stunning L.A. Home for $13.8M
Oprah's designer of choice is letting go of his masterpiece.
Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent are letting go of an extraordinary home in Los Angeles. Oprah's designer of choice and his husband, who star in Nate & Jeremiah by Design on TLC, have listed their singularly spectacular Mediterranean estate in the Hancock Park area for $13.8 million, reports Forbes. The six-bedroom, seven-bathroom home, which comes with a separate guest house for that old Hollywood glamour, was built in 1928 and updated in 2017 by Nate and Jeremiah, who retained the most fabulous old bones and fleshed them out with modern design mastery. According to Forbes, the refreshed estate made a public debut on the pages of Architectural Digest.
It's more than a residence — it's deep Los Angeles history (there's even a 300-year-old oak tree!). Let's take a look at this special home.
Dining Room
The master dining room elevates any occasion, while a junior dining room serves more intimate occasions.
Kitchen
The kitchen features a larder and plenty of storage space for the avid chef and food artisan.
Living Room
The formal living room is a fantastic place to showcase artistic furniture and sculptures.
Master Bedroom
The master bedroom features double walk-in closets and a bathroom described in the listing as "exquisite."
Backyard
Outdoor living space is as crucial as indoor space in Southern California, and this backyard has been meticulously remodeled to serve any occasion. There's a spacious lounge area, pool, spa, barbecue, and even a pond with turtle and koi.
Pool
The Cipriani-style swimmer's pool is the yard's crown jewel. No wonder this estate is one of Oprah's favorite things.
