After Burglary, Rihanna Lists Her Stunning Los Angeles Mansion for $7.495M
The popstar is selling the home that she purchased a mere 18 months ago.
Rihanna is ready to say goodbye to her palatial Los Angeles digs that she purchased just 18 months ago. Why is she leaving? Well, for one, the mega-famous singer’s home was burglarized by a crazed fan — who stayed in the home for a whole 12 hours — back in May. Thank goodness Rihanna wasn’t home at the time, but we can see why she’s ready to move on.
Originally purchased for $6.8 million, the home is now listed for $7.495 million, meaning the Barbadian Grammy winner is looking to make a cool $690,000 profit on the 7,000-square-foot space, which has six bedrooms, eight full bathrooms, two half bathrooms, and is located just above the Sunset Strip. What else does it have? Well, we don't quite know where to start! The ultra-glitzy property, not surprisingly, is a total showstopper. In addition to a two-bedroom guest house (complete with a fully-equipped gym), there’s also a movie theater, two pools, and a to-die-for chef’s kitchen. Let’s take a full tour, shall we?
A Backyard Meant for Entertaining
The gated three-story Mediterranean mansion is nestled on a .43-acre lot that encompasses an infinity pool, spa, lap pool, and grassy areas.
A Stunning Entryway
A pair of striking golden chandeliers flank the stone-tiled entryway — the perfect way to be greeted by a pop star!
A Lovely Living Room
Was Rihanna prone to performing fireside? Maybe! While cozy, this living room has enough space to accommodate a piano, too.
The Most Dramatic Kitchen Ever
Yes, this kitchen is chock-full of high-end appliances, but all we can focus on is that island! The massive T-shaped island is topped with a black-and-white stone that waterfalls over the edges, and it might just be our favorite part of the home.
A Sleek Dining Room
With leafy views as the backdrop, the luxurious dining room has recessed lighting in the coffered ceilings and on-trend light-hued flooring.
A Master Bedroom Fit for a Grammy Winner
Overlooking city views and the treetops of Los Angeles, the master bedroom is gorgeous, comprised of floor-to-ceiling windows (with black window panes, natch), an outdoor terrace, and a cozy sitting area complete with a fireplace.
A Masterful Bath
Located just off the master bedroom, the master bathroom is as opulent as they come, with a herringbone-patterned tile floor, loads of counterspace, and dual showers.
Interested in making an offer? You’ll have to go through The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ husband Mauricio Umansky’s brokerage firm The Agency, which has the listing. And in a turn of events, Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles’ James Harris and David Parnes are the listing agents, because their firm, Bond Street Partners, is now working alongside The Agency on multiple listings.
