See Inside Caroline Stanbury's Insanely Luxe Family Vacation
The Ladies of London alum teased how much "life sucks" at an exclusive resort in Abu Dhabi.
Caroline Stanbury has chosen otherworldly opulence for a family vacation with her children at Zaya Nurai Island, a private boutique resort located near Abu Dhabi.
After spending Christmas with her children and her husband, Cem Habib, the Ladies of London alum announced on December 26 that she and Cem were splitting after 17 years of marriage and would move on from their relationship while continuing to be "good friends and parents." Caroline then let the last days of the decade play out from a gorgeous private mansion before getting her kids and some of her friends who also have children together to hit Zaya Nurai Island.
Located a short boat ride from Abu Dhabi, Zaya Nurai Island offers two-bedroom beach villas and six-bedroom, 18,000-square-foot beach estates with ocean views and private pools for their guests. As soon as she got into their vacation home and was offered a welcome glass of bubbles, Caroline started sharing a video tour of her digs on her Instagram Stories — and jokingly lamented the quick end to her "Dry January."
"Thank you so much, I'll be needing that!" Caroline said, accepting her class of Champagne.
The kids immediately took to their surroundings and ran through the house, leaving Caroline to wonder if she can actually do this. (We think she'll be just fine.)
"Lost the children, they've probably taken my room," she said just moments later.
Caroline and her friend gave a quick peek at the bedrooms, including a giant modular bunk bed that all the children can sleep in, a curtained princess bed, and another "lucky" place to sleep.
"Life sucks," Caroline cheekily captioned an image of the fancy dining area, which can be used for formal or casual meals — the kids got pizza when they arrived.
"Yep, there's worse places to be right now," she added, while panning over the expanse of the home. "I'm going to have a great weekend!"
Enjoy your time with friends and family, Caroline!
