We Found Rain Boots So Stylish, You'll Find Excuses to Wear Them on Sunny Days

I can come up with all kinds of creative excuses to shop, with one glaring exception: Rain boots. Unlike shopping for spring jeans, or a pretty printed jumpsuit, or a new handbag, hunting down rain boots has always given me little to no joy. At best I’d end up settling for a humdrum pair that no one would give a second glance to, and at worst, I’d resign myself to wearing rain boots so bright and totally not-me that I’d pray I didn’t run into any acquaintances while splashing my way to work. 

But all that’s changed thanks to designs that are so perfectly on trend and so gorgeously stylish that I’ve found myself making excuses to wear them even when the weather forecast predicts 0 percent chance of rain. 

Consider Coach’s equestrian-inspired pair ahead, which perfectly complement my favorite jeans as I dodge puddles on my commute. And then there’s Sam Edelman’s "Tinsley" design, which reimagines the classic Chelsea boot in water-resistant rubber. They’re such convincing pretenders, in fact, that I don’t even need to change out of them when I arrive at the office.
