Kaia Gerber Just Landed a MAJOR Fashion Campaign to Cement Her Superstar Status
The model is following in the footsteps of Kristen Stewart and Pharrell Williams with her latest career win.
Somewhere along the line, Kaia Gerber morphed from rising star to full-blown superstar. (That's just what happens when you have Cindy Crawford's genes!) The 16-year-old has already posed for Marc Jacobs print campaigns; she's also walked the runway for brands ranging from Versace to Moschino and Chanel. But, Gerber's latest gig may be her biggest — or at least her most Parisian chic — yet.
The teenage stunner has just landed her first Chanel campaign, and the photos are stunning. The Spring 2018 ads showcase the model lounging on a sofa below rows of gilded library books, letting purses dangle languidly from her wrists.
The fashion ranges from a midriff-bearing cocktail dress to a classic suit and a silky party dress with ruffled sleeves and a giant bow at its waist. With her hair piled back into a 1960s-style coif, the teenager serves insouciance as she stretches out her mile-long stems.
Take a peek at the images, and try not to be sucked in by that mysterious gaze:
