Kim Kardashian West Steps Out with Bubblegum Pink Hair — And No, It’s Not a Wig

For the past few weeks, Kim Kardashian West has been dropping hints that she's over her platinum blonde hair, which requires over 13 hours of maintenance. (Esshh, who could blame her?) Well, it looks like this past weekend the beauty mogul had her final straw.

On Sunday, Kardashian West officially said adios to the blonde and debuted bright bubblegum pink hair on social media. "Hey guys, do you like my new pink hair?" she asked as she posed with a matching pink Snapchat filter.

While the mother of three is no stranger to frequent hair switch-ups, this new 'do surpasses even the shock level that her platinum hair gave us last year. Of course, fans instantly began to question whether Kardashian West’s new hair was a wig. However, moments after the big reveal, the mogul set the record straight on Twitter, sharing that her new hairstyle is in fact very real.

Chris Appleton, Kardashian West’s beloved hairstylist and the mastermind behind her new look, also verified that her pink hair is not a wig on Instagram.

Hours later, Kardashian West was spotted showing off her new look in L.A., and then arriving in Tokyo. For the trip, she donned a neutral oversized fur-lined jacket paired with a matching fleece, and snakeskin boots. Her new magenta strands fell just above her waist with her dark brown roots peeking through.
