Red carpet all-star Lupita Nyong'o just solidified her reign as the queen of green. On December 9, the Oscar-winning actress stole the spotlight at the Los Angeles premiere of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. In a sparkling, emerald-hued gown by Halpern, Nyong'o looked like a jewel come to life.

Judging from an Instagram video that showed Nyong'o shimmying away, the star couldn't get enough of the gown's megawatt sparkle. Take a peek, and try not to fall under the dress' spell:

Now, take a look at that fetching ensemble on the red carpet. It's paired with delicate gold sandals from Jimmy Choo, jewels from Tiffany, and a swipe of hot-pink lipstick from makeup artist Nick Barose.

Nyong'o worked with her longtime stylist, Micaela Erlanger, to select the sparkling frock. This isn't the only time the stylist has dressed her star client in green: who could forget Nyong'o's flapper-style Prada gown at the 2014 Met Gala, for example? And then, there was that plunging Prabal Gurung gown she wore to the 2015 Cannes Film Festival. Gor-geous

Based on fans' reactions to the actress' most recent look, no one will ever tire of seeing Nyong'o in the jewel tone. One Twitter user was all of us, tweeting fandom in real-time upon seeing the dress and remarking: "a goddess among us," "Lupita Nyong’o is a work of art," and, more pressingly: "LOOK AT HER."

Honestly, we'll probably be staring at these images all day. That sparkle has us mesmerized
