The Real Housewives Would Be All Over Mary J. Blige's Versace Met Gala Boots
Sorry, ladies, this look is custom!
If there's one thing we know, it's that Real Housewives love a dramatic thigh-high boot style moment. Who could forget The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Dorit Kemsley's tight electric purple Balenciaga boots? Or when NeNe Leakes — and Kim Zolciak-Biermann — took those incredible $10,000 Saint Laurent statement boots for a spin on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen?
So we think any Bravoleb would be into the fabulous custom Versace boots that singer/actress Mary J. Blige stepped out in yesterday at the Met Gala. The over-the-knee boots matched Blige's mint-green gown with gold embroidery exactly — and the dress had the best reveal of Blige's amazing footwear.
“I feel like she looks like a warrior princess in a way,” Blige's stylist Law Roach told the Hollywood Reporter. “There’s a lot of embroidery, a lot of chiffon and a lot of leg.”
You can get any even closer look at the fashion house's detailed embroidery in these behind-the-scenes shots from Brooklyn-based Beyond Production House.
Too bad the boots were custom-made for Blige by Versace for the Gala. Because after all, how fierce would this "warrior princess" look be for a Real Housewives reunion?
