Tina Turner has taken a long hiatus from walking the red carpet. But after a five-year break, the iconic singer stepped into the spotlight on April 17 for the premiere of Tina: The Musical in London's West End. And when Turner appeared, it's no wonder the shutterbugs were clamoring to snap her photo.
In head-to-toe black, the "Proud Mary" singer displayed her true, boss-lady essence. The 78-year old wore a fitted blazer and perfectly cut tuxedo pants.
But, the look wasn't all business: It also showed a bit of Turner's trademark flash. The singer accessorized with sparkling silver shoes and fingerless lace gloves decked with sparkles and embroidered flowers.
Turner's beauty look combined a smoky eye with a bold coral lip. She also wore a sleek bob with bangs and honey-hued highlights, and charmed onlookers with her megawatt smile.
