Lauren Manzo Scalia Made a Gorgeous Charcuterie Board with Help From Albie's GF
The Manzo'd with Children alum served up an eye-popping spread on a platter with a charming backstory.
Lauren Manzo Scalia recently joined in on a 13-hour sauce-making session at her mother Caroline's house. The family enlisted a whole crew to help them out on "tomato day," and ended up with a bounty of expertly canned veggies. And of course, ace entertainer Lauren didn't let the gang go hungry while they chopped, jarred, and juiced.
As she canned away, the New Jersey salon owner also prepared one of her signature charcuterie boards. Lauren's spreads typically heave with cheeses, meats, breads, and Italian-style bites like tomato focaccia. This smorgasbord was no exception — but it was served on a platter with a special backstory.
Showing off the rustic wooden serving tray, Lauren wrote: "Lots of DMs asking where this board is from. It's custom made by my brother [Albie's] girlfriend [Chelsea DeMonaco.]" Fun fact: Chelsea has a company, Elysian Embers Collection, which specializes in personalized, wood-burned charcuterie boards. (If that doesn't make her a match for the Manzo family... )
So in essence, these spreads are a delicious collaboration between Lauren and her potential sister-in-law-to-be.
