The Manzo Family Created a Brilliant Holiday Playhouse For 3-Year-Old Markie
Caroline Manzo's granddaughter got a festive surprise when her family decked out her play space for Christmas.
Caroline Manzo's granddaughter, Markie Scalia, has a thing for Minnie Mouse. The toddler had a birthday party inspired by the stylish mouse when she turned 2, and another one when she turned 3. So when the Manzo Family wanted to give the little one a holiday surprise, they pulled out the mouse ears again — but made it Christmas.
On Instagram, Caroline shared a peek at the project that Albie Manzo and his girlfriend, Chelsea, were undertaking in the backyard. "Uncle [Albie] and 'A' [Chelsea] came over and surprised Markie with [Disney] theme Christmas decor for her playhouse," Caroline wrote.
The Manzo'd with Children matriarch shared a peek at that decor, which included red-and-green mouse ears forming a festive lane outside the mini house. There was also a statue of Minnie Mouse holding a present, and Markie took a moment to cuddle up to her mousey idol.
The house got even more spectacular at night. After the sun set, Caroline returned to Instagram to share snaps from the "first official Markie Scalia holiday house lighting." The lawn fixtures glowed and mouse-shaped lights swirled across the house's exterior.
"Markie, do you love it?" Caroline asked. The kiddo's response? One very enthused: "Yeah!"
