Los Angeles beauty lovers, get ready to get your glam on with Dr. Kendra Segura. The Married to Medicine Los Angeles OBGYN is opening a franchise of The Girl Cave LA, a beauty supply chain founded by fellow cast member and entrepreneur Lia Dias.
The Girl Cave LA revealed the exciting news on its Instagram page along with a video of Kendra receiving the keys to her new location. In the clip, Kendra looked absolutely fabulous and ready to handle business in a bright pink pantsuit and long, waist-length braids.
"Thank you for welcoming me into The Girl Cave LA family," Kendra shared in the video. The mom and entrepreneur explained that she felt "very blessed" for the opportunity to open a Black-owned business and shared some encouraging words with her followers. "You can be whatever you want to be. You don't need to be boxed in. So whatever you want to do, go ahead and do it."
Lia was also present for the special moment and shared a few words on her partnership with Kendra: "Dr. Kendra is the perfect fit. She's born and raised in L.A. She understands beauty supply culture, she obviously understands beauty, and she's a businesswoman... I know she's going to be the perfect franchisee. She's already started working at some of our neighboring stores." She concluded, "So, this is it. We're taking over the city of L.A."
Kendra is not the first Bravoleb to enter the beauty scene with some help from Lia. Last December, Dr. Heavenly Kimes launched an online beauty supply store called Heavenly Beauty, which is powered by The Girl Cave LA. In March, Heavenly also announced that she's opening a beauty supply location in Georgia.
