Dr. Heavenly' Kimes' Bedroom Looks Like an "Old Lady's Room," Says Daughter Alaura
The Married to Medicine cast member loves her bedroom, even if her 13-year-old isn't digging the decor.
Dr. Heavenly Kimes has an amazing rapport with Alaura Kimes, her 13-year-old daughter who is never afraid to tell her exactly what she thinks of her mother's style, whether it be parenting style or interior design style. Case in point: The Married to Medicine dentist shared on social media that Alaura isn't exactly on board with her mom's master bedroom choices.
"Do you guys like this room?" Heavenly asked her Instagram followers as she panned her phone around her bedroom, which features dramatically draped gold curtains, a brown and gold bed, a gray couch, a pair of emerald green chairs, brown armoires, and a vintage-looking chandelier. "My daughter says it looks like an old lady’s room, but I love it... your thoughts? Changes?"
Heavenly put up a follow-up Instagram post the next day to defend what her daughter thinks is an octogenarian aesthetic, playfully asserting that she loves it.
"I really do think this room is beautiful!!!" she wrote. "I can’t stop looking at it !! It’s soo different... it’s me! Old/new. Heavy/Light. A pop of color. The curtains make the room ... forget you... @queen_alaura ..[laughing emojis] I love you! #theMomma#DrHeavenly #married2med."
