Dr. Jackie Walters Shares a Photo of Her Gorgeous Bridal Gown from Her Wedding Day
The Married to Medicine doctor was radiant at her 2002 wedding in an angelic dress.
To celebrate her 18th wedding anniversary on April 20, Dr. Jackie Walters shared a sweet throwback snap of herself and husband Curtis Berry in the church on their special day. The photo is a testament to the Married to Medicine couple's enduring love — and to Jackie's classic wedding style.
On her wedding day, the doctor wore a white gown that fit her like a glove. The simple and chic style had a straight neckline and dainty spaghetti straps, and Jackie wore a puffy tulle veil with satin-ribbon edges. To cap off the classic bridal look, Jackie clutched a white, ribbon-tied bouquet in her hands; she also wore a strand of ladylike pearls around her neck, matching earrings, and a thin bracelet. Curtis made a dapper groom at her side, wearing a black suit with an oversized jacket with a white boutonniere.
While the couple's wedding style was picture perfect, Jackie has always admitted that marriage takes work (see the clip above). In her anniversary caption, she wrote:
"It’s been 18 years today, 4/20/2002 at 2pm and I wish I could say it’s been easy but it requires much prayer, counseling and forgiveness! We have learned to love in practical ways and talk about those things that can divide us. We work daily to have kind words and gracious thoughts. (Psss...and some days we fail). We may not have it all together however working together we can have it all!!!"
