Heavenly Kimes Jokes About Her Daughter Alaura’s Outfits: “Momma Can’t Take It!”
The Married to Medicine dentist showed her 16-year-old's recent look and pleaded, “Just go change!”
Whether it's a chic sweet 16 dress or a '90s-inspired back-to-school outfit, we've seen Dr. Heavenly Kimes rave about her daughter Alaura's gorgeous fashion over the years. However, on April 5, the Married to Medicine dentist had some thoughts to share about her 16-year-old's most recent look.
"Just go change!!!!" Heavenly quipped in the caption of an Instagram post showing Alaura in thigh-high houndstooth boots, ripped denim shorts, and a sweatshirt. "I’m sick of arguing with this child about what she has on!! [Anyone want] a [soon-to-be 17-year-old]!! Momma can't take it!!" In response to Alaura's full makeup look seen in the photo, Heavenly concluded with a message for her daughter: "And wash your damn face!"
Still, the teen took her mom's feedback in stride, coming back with an epic response to Heavenly's post: "It's so hard being the Rihanna of the family."
Heavenly often comments on Alaura's eye-catching looks. In April 2021, Heavenly showed her daughter's long nails topped with pink polish and 3D accents and wrote, "Chile. Alaura done went all out on these nails! How do you work?" Two years prior, she shared a photo of Alaura in a black minidress on her way to her school's homecoming dance. "My tiny little baby is going to homecoming!!! She is sooo beautiful, it's hard for me to allow her to grow up!" Heavenly wrote in her caption. "We argued over the dress she would wear... I bought her a dress like the one she wore when she was seven!"
