Mariah Huq Shares What She's Cooking at Home: "My Kids Have Been Eating Good"
The Married to Medicine producer is whipping up giant portions of comfort food amid self-isolation.
As she hunkers down at home with her family to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), Mariah Huq is doing what many others are: putting her home-chef skills to use. And in a March 19 Instagram post, the Married to Medicine mother of two shared just how she's keeping her kids fed.
It starts with comfort food. "My kids have been eating good this week," she shared. "I've been cooking real meals for breakfast lunch & dinner. I made herb chicken, dressing, squash casserole & turnips today. Next week I promise they will be on straight salad, soups or casseroles." She added a hashtag spelling out: eating too much. (That seems to be a relatable situation these days.)
The post shared a photo of the homemade meals Mariah has been whipping up, and indeed there is a bounty. Look beyond the mac and cheese if you can: The snap also gives another peek at the sky-blue walls in the producer's Atlanta kitchen.
