This Mexican Dynasties Family's Penthouse in the Sky Is Simply to Die For
Fernando Allende's terrace even has space for a Mariachi band.
There’s one thing we know for sure: The Allendes of Bravo’s new show Mexican Dynasties are not a shy and retiring bunch. The family — one of three glamorous Mexico City clans chronicled in the show — takes life by the horns, so to speak, and the center of it all is their utra-sleek penthouse in the sky. Family patriarch Fernando recently gave us a tour (which you can watch in the video above), and as you might expect, it’s completely set up for entertaining, with a dining space that easily seats 12 as well as multiple sitting areas for lounging, including a stadium-sized great room (we exaggerate, but only slightly) equipped with more sofas than your average furniture showroom.
But where the party really goes down is on the expansive penthouse terrace with endless views of Mexico City. “As a family, we spend a lot of time out here, and the parties, oh my god, the parties,” gushed Fernando, who motioned to where the Mariachi band is usually set up before calling down to the housing staff for Champagne. We can get used to this.
Good thing Fernando can retreat to his bedroom when he needs to chill, where everything from the shades to the TV is controlled via smart tablet.
