Guess Which Million Dollar Listing L.A. Pro Landed Demi Lovato's Mansion?
The singer chose this power broker to get her Pacific Palisades house sold… or rented.
Demi Lovato has certainly had a bumpy year, but in the six months since the singer’s reported overdose, she has gone to rehab and continues to focus on her recovery, working hard to turn over a new leaf in her life. Part of that process includes moving on the from the Pacific Palisades home where she was found unconscious back in July. “All my fans need to know is I’m working hard on myself, I’m happy and clean and I’m SO grateful for their support,” she Tweeted last month.
First listed for $9.5 million back in September, the house is back on the market this week with a new price, $8.995 million, and a familiar new broker, Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles' James Harris. And Lovato and James are also offering a new option this time around: Interested parties can rent out the four-bedroom, six-bathroom mansion for a cool $39,500 a month.
We’re guessing there’s no love lost between Lovato and her 5,500-square-foot home. You might remember that she bought the property in August of 2016, but still hadn’t moved in by early 2017 because mud slides resulted in some 20 tons of rock and debris landing in her driveway. Here’s hoping the next owners will have a happier time in the home. In the meantime, let’s take a look at James’ newest listing, shall we?
An Open-Air Living Room
You had us at double-height ceilings! Oh, and at pocket doors that make the indoors seamless with the outdoors.
A Truly Private Estate
Located at the end of a tranquil street above the infamous Chateau Marmont hotel, Demi’s house offers lots of privacy, and safety thanks to the gated community it’s a part of.
Those Views
One of the biggest perks of the home’s high perch is unobstructed city views. And floor-to-ceiling windows in another living space take full advantage of them.
The Chef’s Kitchen
Oversized marble island? Check. High-end appliances? Check. All white everywhere? Check. Yup, this will do.
A Private Club
The property also has an upper club level that comprises a bar and media room and a huge sky lounge terrace that offers more of those gorgeous views.
Despite the house's rocky history, we’re guessing James will have no problem moving this estate for his famous client.
