Check Out Josh & Heather Altman's Stunning All-White Kitchen Reveal
The Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles brokers just completed a major renovation of their own home.
It’s been nearly a two-year odyssey for Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles' Josh Altman and wife Heather Bilyeu Altman while waiting for the new home to be renovated. But now all the drop cloth and construction tools have been put away and the couple are finally revealing it for the first time.
Heather and Josh purchased the Beverly Hills home under two years ago — though they fell in love with the bones, the 6,000 square foot house was in desperate need of an upgrade. “It was a little bit of a challenge because it was dark and heavy, and we were looking for more of an East Coast, Hamptons-style house,” Josh told People.
They set about removing walls and adding sliding glass doors and windows to make the home feel light and airy. One major change was creating an open plan living and dining space that can accommodate their growing brood (the couple welcomed baby Ace in August, who joins daughter Alexis).
“We’re a big foodie family,” Josh told People. “We love to eat, cook and entertain, so the kitchen is really my favorite part of the house.”
“It’s definitely the hub, and it’s comfortable for all of us,” Heather added.
We’d say that got it right. Josh recently shared some of the home on his Instagram and in a video on his YouTube channel. Check out pics of the kitchen below.
The Altmans knocked out a wall to create an amazing open plan kitchen suitable for their young family.
Heather, who oversaw design of the home, stuck to a while palette for the kitchen. It features Shaker-style cabinetry, brass fixtures, marble countertops and a massive farm sink. Heather teamed with @MGBWhome on all the furnishings.
The kitchen even has space for discreet snacking.
