Heather Bilyeu Altman Reveals All of Her Top Tips for a Flawless Beauty Look

Heather Bilyeu Altman has perfected the natural beauty look. Whether she's enjoying a casual day in Los Angeles, on a date with husband Josh Altman, or at a major event, The Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles agent tends to rock glowing skin, rosy cheeks, and subtly defined eyes. Now, Heather is finally sharing all of her skincare and makeup tricks with Bravo Insider.

When it comes to her skin, Heather is diligent about keeping it clean. "I just got much better about making sure I wash my face every single night before I go to bed," she said, "because I was very bad about that in my younger years." She also has a few tried-and-true brands for her skincare needs, including SkinMedica and SkinCeuticals. "I also love the Lancer face scrub, which I think has changed my skin," she noted. "I use it every single day."

Heather's makeup bag includes "all types of stuff," including products from Chanel, Giorgio Armani, Hourglass, and Charlotte Tilbury. "It just depends on the day and what type of coverage I'm looking for." 

One of her favorites is Charlotte Tilbury's Hollywood Flawless Filter. "I usually mix that with my Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer during the day," she explained. "But if I want a little more coverage, I go for ILIA's Super Serum Skin Tint, and that gives a little bit better coverage for night time." For a sun-kissed look, "I love the Hourglass Cosmetics bronzer," Heather said. "It's really to give you a gorgeous bronze dewy look, and then the NARS Orgasm blush, which has been around forever."

Heather wore eyelash extensions for seven years and "never took a break," but she looked for an alternative after her daughter, Lexi, was born. "I didn't have time to sit there for an hour every other week and have my eyes completely closed and not look at email or take care of my kids, so I took them off," explained Heather, who is also mom to son Ace. Eventually, she found what she calls her "secret to lashes," Rodan + Fields Lash Boost. "Literally, it's heaven," she declared. "It's saved my life." Heather also coats her lashes with a "game-changer" product: Tarte's Tarteist Lash Paint Mascara.

Heather's makeup routine can be toned down or glammed up depending on the day, and she likes to keep her outfits just as versatile. "I'm definitely into business casual," she said. "I transition from mom to realtor, back to mom, and then going out. So, it's gotta be clothing that you can easily transform and transition throughout the day. The basic jeans and tank with a blazer is always my go-to."

She is also happy to help Josh put together his looks. Josh quipped to Bravo Insider: "I have a stylist named Heather. She's great. She makes me return half of my clothes that don't look good, but she says it in a nice way like, 'You're obviously not wearing that or keeping that, right?'" He added: "I'm super conservative, obviously. Most of it's business casual, but Heather gets to wear all the fun stuff that I get jealous of."

Of course, Heather likes to share her favorite products with her loved ones, and with a passion for all things beauty, fashion, and home decor, it's no surprise that her go-to holiday gift comes from a Bravoleb-loved brand. "Jo Malone does a great Christmas collection every year," she said. "It's a really cute box that has a bunch of different signature scents and little different surprises." Last-minute shoppers, take note: "I've never met anyone that doesn't like it. They have candles and sprays and everything. So, that's always a really good easy go-to."
