Tracy Tutor Shows Off Her “Glam” Take on “Menswear Vibes”
The Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles agent is “loving” her new look — and Josh Flagg has thoughts.
In the clip above, Tracy Tutor shares some of her best style tips for looking “sexy, confident” and “also appropriate for the business world.” Her pointers include having a great pencil skirt on hand, investing in a few boardroom-ready blazers, and mixing high-end fashion with more affordable labels. (More on that later.)
But if there’s one style tip that Tracy emphasizes the most, it’s building a wardrobe filled with neutral colors. “Be it sand colors, dune colors, white, black, grays, tans — those are the colors that you can intermix a lot,” she says. “Don’t get me wrong: I love red, I love tangerine this season… but when you’re talking about staples in your closet [...] I always think start with neutrals.”
And in a recent Instagram Story, Tracy proved just how chic a black-and-white ensemble can look — especially when it’s served with some “menswear vibes.”
Tracy Tutor’s “Menswear Vibes”
In her July 13 Stories, the Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles superagent filmed herself ascending a staircase in a manicured garden with her old pal Josh Flagg. “We’re twinning right now,” she said, panning over both of their outfits. Josh started to concur — but then found a loophole.
“You look good. We’re both in black and white,” he noted, before adding: “Actually, my belt is brown.” But Tracy was definitely rocking the classic color combo, sporting a fitted black-and-white tank top with white pants. She accessorized with dangling hoop earrings, slicked-back hair, and a bronzed beauty look.
Showing off her black handbag, she explained: “I’m wearing my little vintage Prada that my mom got me years ago.” And in her caption, Tracy summed up the mood of her look: “Loving menswear vibes with a touch of glam,” she wrote.
The agent tagged stylist Isabelle Sabel, who has helped Tracy put together chic ensembles — including this “pink moment” — in the past.
Tracy’s Investment Advice for Fashion
Tracy’s later posts showed her and Josh seated on a candlelit patio, where she extended her leg to show off her shoe. “Aren’t those cute?” she asked Josh, rotating the strappy stiletto style. “Very good,” Josh agreed, before asking, “Did you get those at TJ Maxx?” Maybe not, but Tracy has gone on the record saying she loves a good economical find from Zara.
“[One thing] I think is really important is to remember the high-low,” she shares in the video above. “I like to spend money on really nice things. I do make sure that I buy my investment pieces in colors that I know are gonna last a lifetime and in fabrics that I know are gonna last a lifetime. [But] then […] with the trends and some of the more interesting pieces I don’t think are gonna be back or last for 10 years… I’m not gonna spend as much money.”
She continued, “I’m a big fan of Zara. Believe me: If you pull the looks together in the right way, you’re gonna look like a million bucks.”
