Ryan: I'm a Good Guy and an Even Better Boss

By Ryan Serhant

I hope you're enjoying the best season of Million Dollar Listing New York, EVER. Expansion in all ways, never forget your family words like on Game of Thrones: The Deals are COMING!

I'm a good guy, and an even better boss. Olivia was an amazing assistant, and she got to learn from the best. So – I thought I'd put her to the test as one of my newest agents. She did great at the 22 Renwick listing meeting, and our Developer really took to her personality, which I knew would happen.

This episode is really about LOVE for me. Love of my job, Emilia, and...a certain Penthouse. I fell in love, again, with the dreams of a new life, and my soon to be wife. Sometimes fate just steps in, the timing is just right, and it all falls into place.

Double the Penthouses, Double the Brokers

What I didn't see coming was my lovely former-assistant, Olivia, taking this opportunity to climb out from behind my shadow and strike me in the head. I should have seen it in her eyes, but I was blinded by my love. Yes – I made the bet with Olivia, and well, I plan on winning this thing, one way or another. Am I going to make her jump into the Hudson River? I'd say no, but she set the stakes high. We could have bet 20 bucks like normal people, and been satisfied. But no: Olivia wants me in a bunny suit, serving her all day. WHAT?!

Et tu, Brute...

I didn't think Liv had it in her. She took my furniture to stage her Penthouse 1 listing. MY FURNITURE! We make one little bet and she cuts me down. I was hurt, but I'm a survivor. Yes, that Broker Event for 22 Renwick was so packed it made me sweat. Yes, 200 brokers and their clients showed up. I was supportive, because I never forgot this is a team sport. Did I show Penthouse 3 to potential clients? Yes, but I wanted them to see the closest comparable unit. Did I want a second opinion before I showed this unit to my fiancé? That's also a possibility. Clients are honest, and when something isn't right, they tell you. I had all the confirmation I needed; I was ready to show Emilia.

My life is crazy, so it's nice to have Emilia showing up to more of my professional events. This time around I had an ulterior motive. I needed to show my bride-to-be my dream first home in NYC. I believe in this developing part of West SoHo, and no better way to prove it than moving right in. Having Emilia with me to share this moment made it so extra special.

Emilia, I Think We Should Buy it!

I'm making some big commitments, but I'm ready for all of it. This is where I want to begin, anew. All I've done is for these events, happening right now. I'm getting married and I just purchased a new home! See Mom: I told you everything would be alright.

I just want to thank each and every one of you for being a part of my life. Tune in next week and hopefully I don't have to wear a bunny suit. It's only a punishment if you hate it, and sorry for you, Olivia, I love it extra furry.
