Fredrik Eklund Got the Most Adorable 43rd Birthday Cake from His Kids in Bed
The Million Dollar Listing New York dad was "eternally grateful" for the sweet birthday celebration with his family.
Fredrik Eklund has wrangled the most incredible birthday cakes for his kids, Freddy and Milla. For one memorable birthday bash, each cutie pie got a hand-painted cake topped with a golden crown. So when the Million Dollar Listing New York dad turned 43 on April 26, his tots decided to return the favor.
In an Instagram post from his special day, the super agent shared a photo of himself cuddled up in bed with his husband Derek, his toddler twins, and a picture-perfect cake.
"It’s a Swedish tradition for the birthday boy to be woken up super early to eat cake in the bed with the family after singing," Fredrik wrote. His cake was coated in chocolate frosting and had white icing dripping down its sides; it also had rainbow sprinkles, pink candles, and a message that'll melt your heart: "Happy Birthday Dada."
The taste test went well, apparently. "Milla and Freddy made birthday cards and instantly got a crazy sugar high and started jumping up and down like mini kangaroos," Fredrik continued in his caption. "Every year gets better, truly, 43 feels so good and I’m eternally grateful."
The cake feast is just one sweet memory Fredrik and his family have already made in their new Los Angeles home. As he settles into life on the West Coast, the agent has opened up about special moments including a sunset sushi feast held beside his new pool.
