Fredrik Eklund Shows Off His Towering 2022 Christmas Tree: “Too Early?”

In November 2020, Fredrik Eklund shared a peek at his decorated Christmas tree and stated, “We’re known for starting [Christmas] really early in this family because we love it so much.” Two years later, the Million Dollar Listing alum proved that tradition is still going strong.

In a November 7 Instagram post, Fredrik showed his daughter, Milla, and their dog standing in front of their towering Christmas tree. Although Fredrik and his family typically decorate their tree with a variety of colorful ornaments, they took a different approach this year with a glowing combination of white and silver baubles. 

Fredrik asked in his caption if it was “too early” to start decorating for the December holiday, but the decision had full support from a couple of Bravolebs. Melissa Gorga commented, “Nahhhh,” and Kyle Richards declared, “Never!” 

Last year, Fredrik opened up about celebrating the holidays with his family in a November Instagram post. “This is my favorite season and we try to teach the kids our traditions: the (early) big tree glowing, especially in the morning when it’s all dark outside, wrapping the gifts with Swedish glögg, seeing the excitement (and frustration) on the kids faces when they can’t open all the packages immediately and just have to wait for Santa (Milla says he is too fat for our fireplace anyway),” he wrote. “The baking of pumpkin pies and banana bread that I’m still trying to perfect after all these years (the key is walnuts and turmeric!), Dada’s juicy special truffle-and-garlic chicken in the oven since we’ve never been big turkey eaters, and then finally catch up on movies, sleep and snuggles.”

He concluded: “I don’t know, maybe it’s the Christmas music starting now (which drives Derek crazy lol) but there is magic in the new house and so much to be thankful for.”
