Khloe Kardashian's Hairstylist Swears by This Pantry Item for Fabulous Hair

Believe it or not, most of Justine Marjan's hair tricks involve items that can be found right your kitchen.

Dorit Kemsley Is a True Style Queen

Quite possibly the most in-demand celebrity hairstylist at the moment, Justine Marjan has created some of the hottest and highly adored Hollywood hairstyles. Khloe Kardashian's fierce “power ponytail”? Marjan did that. Dorit Kemsley's blinged-out The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 8 reunion ‘do? She did that as well. Olivia Culpo’s super shiny waves? Yep, you guessed it, Marjan is responsible for that look too. Honestly, this group doesn’t even cover a fourth of the celebs who seek the L.A.-based hair guru's services.

In addition to coming up with her own techniques, such as using a flat iron to create sultry s-waves, Marjan is showing her clients how to maintain healthy hair. After all, a faux bob can’t always hide those unruly split ends.

Who couldn't use some expert hair advice from Marjan? We certainly know we can. So, Most Wanted decided tap into Marjan’s extensive hair knowledge for tips and tricks. Read on to learn all about Marjan’s techniques for fabulous hair, plus the one celebrity hairstylist secret we all should know.

What does your daily hair routine look like?

Marjan: I drink the OLLY Super Foods Smoothie every morning to ensure I’m getting proper vitamins, nutrients, and energy throughout the day. Stress is one of the biggest causes for weak and thinning strands, so taking the time to take care of yourself is just as important as your outward beauty routine. I suggest OLLY Goodbye Stress Gummy Vitamins to help manage stress levels. I also suggest a pre-shampoo treatment oil at least once a week to hydrateand nourish strands, and a treatment mask weekly or bi-weekly depending on your hair type and how often you wash. For these I love the TRESemmé Repair & Protect 7 Instant Recovery Mask, OUAI Treatment Mask, and Leonor Greyl Shampoo Treatment.

How can we all maintain shiny, healthy hair?

Marjan: I always suggest my clients keep their hair healthy and strong from the inside by maintaining a healthy lifestyle, keeping stress at bay, and taking OLLY Undeniable Beauty Gummy Vitamins, which promote healthy hair growth with biotin and vitamin C, and increases collagen. I also suggest sleeping on The Hollywood Silk Solutions Silk Pillowcases to prevent frizz, hair breakage, and keep moisture in the hair. In addition, I suggest massaging the scalp regularly to increase circulation and to brush strands with a boar bristle brush to pull moisture from the scalp through the ends.

Are there any hair products you always have handy?

Marjan: TRESemmé Micro-Mist Hair Spray Hold Level 4: ExtendOUAI Dry Texture Foam, and Bumble and Bumble Full Form Mousse.

What is a celebrity hairstylist secret we should all know?

Marjan: Everyone wears extensions! Hair photographs smaller and appears smaller on TV, so in order for your strands to look great on film, I suggest applying a few clip-in extensions for added fullness or the Hidden Crown Halo Extensions as an easy way to add bulk or length to the hair.

Do you have any favorite DIY masks or hair treatments?

Marjan: I’m the biggest fan of the ayurvedic way of using sesame oil called Abyanga. It’s a version of self-massage that hydrates and protects. For this [treatment], I use organic, unrefined sesame oil and apply it to dry hair before washing. I massage it into my scalp and pull through my strands. I will also ‘multi-mask’ by massaging it into my skin and using it to oil pull for 20 minutes. When the time is up, shampoo and condition your hair as normal using Tresemme Repair and Protect 7 Shampoo and Conditioner.

What do you think is going to be the next hot hair trend?

Marjan: Bolder short haircuts and fringe! Women are more empowered than ever and are embracing super chic short haircuts and fringe as opposed to long locks that need lots of styling. I’m enjoying seeing women taking more risks with their hair and embracing great haircuts.
