Jerry O'Connell has developed an unexpected friendship with Wendy Williams over the last couple years and has even filled in for her on her eponymous talk show. Now, he is formally calling her his boss as The Jerry O Show has Wendy Williams as an executive producer.

"I work for Wendy," he told a caller on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen who wanted to know if she is "OK" amidst her ongoing divorce from ex Kevin Hunter. "This is a spinoff of her show, she's my boss," he explained. "She's great, she's doing great."

Wendy herself said she's "doing great" in an interview on Tuesday with Sway in the Morning, in which she mentioned that O'Connell was coming over for tapas to celebrate his new show. She also opened up about Kevin Hunter's new life, which includes a baby with his mistress of a decade, in a way she hasn't before.

“I want a divorce, like, yesterday," she told Sway. "I want a divorce two months ago, three months ago. Whenever I found out [about the baby], four months ago. I want a divorce and I want to be friends with Kevin... not because we have a son but because that was real love. I still love him, just not in that way. You either in or you are out with me. I still have love for him and I wish him the best in his new life with his new family."
