Don’t Be So Shallow, Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper Are Not in Love (According to Her)
The A Star is Born leading lady is still trying to convince (millions and millions of unconvinced) people to stop trying to make Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper as a couple happen.
It seems like everyone with a social media account who watched Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper sing their A Star Is Born duet "Shallow" at the Oscars is convinced that the two are deeply in love and should be a couple, but is that just wishful thinking paired with normal celebrity couple obsession?
Yep, says Lady Gaga.
“First of all, social media, quite frankly, is the toilet of the internet, and what it has done to pop culture is abysmal," she told Jimmy Kimmel on his talk show when he asked her about it. "And people saw love, and guess what, that’s what we wanted you to see."
“From a performance perspective, it was so important to both of us that we were connected the entire time," she continued. "Look, I’ve had my arms wrapped around Tony Bennett for three years touring the world. When you’re singing love songs, that’s what you want people to feel.”
It's understandable that people would speculate, especially since Gaga just ended her engagement, but it sounds like she'd be happy to see this particular rumor flushed.
