Wendy Williams has been eating and hobnobbing her way through Los Angeles while on vacation from her eponymous talk show. She's taking a West Coast break in hopes of peace amid the public family drama that came in the wake of filing for divorce from Kevin Hunter, her husband of 21 years, and her son Kevin Hunter Jr.'s subsequent arrest for getting into a physical altercation with his dad.
And what a break it has been! She's covered some extreme bases, including chilling with Kris Jenner and then sharing a video of her celebrating 'Ye's bday with Kim and Kanye ("You are very special to the world," she wrote to him on Instagram), then hanging with Blac Chyna at the West Hollywood Pride Parade.
"What's really good?? Being in LA celebrating pride with my little sister! How you doin? I’m in Chy-town," she wrote as the caption for an Instagram photo of her and Chyna, who recently appeared on The Wendy Williams Show and dished on which father of her kids, Rob Kardashian or rapper Tyga, is a better lover.
Then Sunday night, TMZ caught up with Williams and she pretty much immediately said, "Please don't make me cry," before then starting to cry, tearfully adding, "Oh my god, I didn't plan on this but it is what it is."
According to Williams, the world will see the (formerly) happy (former) family of three back together again one day... at least by Jr.'s college graduation. "I would ask you to respect our privacy but please, I don't respect people's privacy, that's why I do the Hot Topics," she added.
Oh, and then there's the fact she's also been spotted holding hands with a sexy younger man on this trip, who she hashtagged on social media but has not made Instagram Official. Yet.
So, really, howyoudoin', Wendy? Even though she wasn't invited to ride on a Pride float this past weekend, Williams has obviously had a smashing time while in town, even promising on Instagram that she'll be back in August for a hip-hop festival.
