Erica: A Reason, a Season, a Lifetime
Erica explains what each of her fellow Princesses has taught her.
“People come into your life for a reason, a season, or
a lifetime. When you figure out which one it is, you
will know what to do for each person.”
When someone is in your life for a REASON . . . It is
usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have
come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you
with guidance and support, to aid you physically,
emotionally, or spiritually. They may seem like a
Godsend, and they are! They are there for the reason
you need them to be."*
Joey is definitely a person I feel has come into my life for many reasons. She is always there for me in person and spirit. Whenever I need a good laugh or a serious talk she is often a reason my feelings change for the better. She gives me valuable advice and often helps me see things from a different point of view.
“When people come into your life for a SEASON . . .
Because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn.
They bring you an experience of peace, or make you laugh.
They may teach you something you have never done.
They usually give you an unbelievable amount
of joy. Believe it! It is real!”
With Amanda and Chanel, I feel these are two women that have taught me valuable lessons about love and friendship. They both make me laugh more than anything to a point that I am so hysterical, my stomach hurts. They also are great true friends that bring things to my attention I may not see without there help.
I feel all the girls on the show -- Joey, Amanda, Chanel, Ashlee, and Casey -- have taught me different lessons about myself, and no matter what has happened (fighting, laughter, tears), I am grateful to have shared the time with them that I have and hope to only continue to spend more times together.
“LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons; things
you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional
foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the
person, and put what you have learned to use in all
other relationships and areas of your life. It is said
that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.”
Rob is a person who I believe will be a part of my life long-term. He has been not only my boyfriend, but also my best friend. I know I can be difficult, and he always reminds who I am inside and sees the best in me. I truly appreciate having such a wonderful person in my world. He is my shoulder to cry on, my partner to laugh with, and love.
