Christian Siriano Brings a Futuristic Touch to Evening Wear at NY Fashion Week
A few Bravolebs also attended the blinged-out fashion show to support the Bravo's Project Runway mentor.
Project Runway mentor and designer Christian Siriano has wowed us yet again with another marvelous fashion show. The beloved designer presented his Fall 2019 collection on Saturday, February 9, at New York Fashion Week, and since then, we've been dreaming of ruffled gowns and sparkles.
The Season 4 Project Runway winner's most recent collection presents a futuristic take on evening wear, complete with sequined pants suits, ruffled gowns with romantic silhouettes, and sleek, sparkly dresses with feather accents. The color scheme included royal purple, black, white, silver, and regal blues. To complement Christian's designs, the models sported blinged-out beauty looks on the runway. Each model's face was wrapped in crystals, and celeb hairstylist, Justine Marjan (who is also Dorit Kemsley's go-to stylist), created an edgy hairstyle for the show. All long-haired models rocked a low ponytail with silver metal chains tied in, adding another element of shine to the catwalk.
Front row seats at the show were occupied by celebrities including Danielle Brooks, Kelli Giddish, Debra Messing, Mariska Hargitay, and Christina Hendricks.
Also spotted supporting their fellow Bravoleb: The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Melissa Gorga and Project Runway judge Elaine Welteroth.
Christian also had a few familiar faces strut down his catwalk: model Chanel Iman worked the runway in a whimsical purple gown, while Ashley Graham closed the show in show-stopping sheer, crystal-covered dress.
