Summer is almost here, which means it’s time to take a break from heavy, matte products and revamp your beauty arsenal with glow-getting tools. This season is all about enhancing your natural radiance, and Grace Lee, makeup artist for Maybelline, has revealed exactly what you need to achieve a lit-from-within glow.

How to Watch

The Bravo's Project Runway makeup artist told The Lookbook that the key to nailing a gleaming complexion starts with a good foundation base, which involves making sure you have the right foundation and that you don’t overdo it. Lee’s pro tip: Only put foundation “where needed,” instead of caking on the product all over your face. And don’t forget to moisturize first — this is one step you don’t want to skip.

Lee used this exact method to create a stunning beauty look on last week’s episode of Project Runway, and we got the full breakdown. Follow the steps below to create this bronze and glowing glam.

Step 1: Apply Maybelline Fit Me Matte & Poreless Foundation where coverage is needed.

Step 2: Use Maybelline Fit Me Concealer to brighten the under eye area and conceal any imperfections.

Step 3: To define your eyes, apply Maybelline TattooStudio Eyeliner Pencil in Bold Brown along the lash line.

Step 4: Blend the brown and neutral pink shades from the Maybelline The City Mini Palette in Matte About Town on to the eyelids.

Step 5: To contour your face, use a bronzer brush and sweep Maybelline City Bronzer along the hollows of your cheekbones, jawline, and forehead.

Step 6: Lightly dab on Maybelline Facestudio Master Strobing Stick in 100/Light along the high points of your cheekbones.

Step 7: Finish the look by adding Maybelline Super Stay Matte Ink in Poet onto the lips.
