Brandon Maxwell's Spring 2022 New York Fashion Week Show Was a Riot of Color
The Project Runway judge sent models down the runway in bold prints, bight colors, and glittering lamé.
As a judge of Project Runway (which has its Season 19 debut October 14 at 9/8c!), Brandon Maxwell gets to take in tons of fashion shows that display looks from rising designers. (And he never shies away from offering his input.)
But during New York Fashion Week, the fashion mogul had the chance to show off his own designs in a runway presentation featuring his Spring/Summer 2022 collection.
Featuring the likes of Gigi Hadid, Brandon's runway was bathed in a bright purple light. And bright color also wove its way through the collection, which featured a silky, sea-green A-line dress, a floaty maxidress in ombre shades of pink, and a bubblegum-hued pleated dress that shimmered with glittery lamé.
The bold collection also featured zebra-print swirls, and a crisp silky suit that was tailored perfectly for Gigi.
