See Inside Lilly Ghalichi's Wild "Glam Carnival" for Her Daughter's 1st Birthday
The Shahs of Sunset alum's baby Alara had the most incredible, over-the-top first birthday party.
Viewers who saw the fabulous Lilly Ghalichi on Seasons 2 and 3 of Shahs of Sunset came to quickly understand that this is a woman who doesn't do anything that's not utterly and totally over-the-top, in the very best way. The designer makes bold swimwear, rocks impossibly long and gorgeous locks, and has a vibrant and elegant personal style that's all her own. But her greatest design feat to date has to be the incredible "Glam Carnival" that she put together for her daughter Alara's first birthday party — an event that set a new bar for toddler perfection.
Hundreds of friends in attendance (including The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Gretchen Rossi) were greeted at the front door of Alara's Glam Carnival by cascades of sea foam green balloons and Lilly in full pink Barbie princess garb. In the back of the house, kids enjoyed an epic day of arts and crafts and awesome snacks inside a special kids area framed by pink balloons and watched over by a stilt walker.
The party's pièce de résistance, however, was the trio of cakes sitting on Lucite pedestals and housed under stunning, rainbow-hued flower arches. Mind. Blown!
Check out all of the party highlights below... and try not to steal these ideas!
An Ombre Flower Installation
Rotating carnival-themed cakes and a striking, ombre rainbow floral archway made the interior room THE place to take some IG-worthy selfies.
Animals Galore
Outside, a petting zoo contained fluffy bunnies as well as more unusual and unexpected animals like turtles and even a boa constrictor!
Kid-Approved Crafts
Crafts included painting and decorating unicorn statues and building teddy bears. Outside, a kiddie pool was cleverly filled with bubble solution to make giant bubbles.
A Sweet Ball Pit
The adults probably had to stop themselves from jumping into the pit of pink balls clearly meant for little ones.
Entertainment for Days
As if turtles, pythons, bubbles, and ball pits weren't enough, Lilly also had multiple performers, including a stilt walker and a juggler interacting with her guests. Well done, Mama!
