The Shahs of Sunset Season 7 Reunion Looks Revealed

Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi loves switching up her look, from getting a sleek lob cut to dying her hair purple. But GG's latest hairstyle sparked a lot of comments online, and the Shahs of Sunset Wüsah creator is continuing the conversation.

How to Watch

Catch up on Shahs of Sunset on the Bravo App.

It all started earlier this month when GG posted a photo of herself with her hair half-up and half-down in twists. She wrote in the caption: "The extremely talented @__prissyroots came thru w/ these gorgeous Senegalese twists just the way I wanted!!!"

Some Instagrammers wrote comments like: "Thank you for knowing the REAL name of these twists and recognizing culture!! AND you look bomb!!" But others brought up the issue of cultural appropriation — as discussed during Kim Kardashian West's "Bo Derek" braids incident.

GG posted another shot of her hair yesterday and explained what she was thinking when she got this style.

"Still so obsessed with this look! So many different opinions about it but I could care less. I have insulted nobody's culture with this look and quite the contrary, I'm showing appreciation to the style by wanting to replicate it," she wrote.

GG continued: "I think its beautiful. Just like I think its beautiful when so many of you wear wigs full of hair that your culture wouldn't normally have. Or microblading eyebrows to be thick like middle easterns. Injecting butts to be bigger. Eyes to be wider. Skin to be lighter. Hair to be less. Hair to be more. Bigger lips. Tribal tattoos... I can go on and on! We show our appreciation of cultures by incorporating them into our lives. Never forget that the largest form of flattery, is replication."

So don't be surprised if you see this look on GG in the future. She finished by saying: "I loved these Senegalese twists and I will definitely get them again!"
