MJ: Charlie Did a Fine Job
MJ dishes on how Charlie did meeting her friends for the first time.
Bravotv.com: Are you a fan of cooking? What's your signature dish?
MJ: Something you may not know about me is that I love to cook! Cooking equates to quality time with family. My signature dish is Polo Morgh and Tah-dig. It's a low fat, 30 minute recipe I've mastered, without skipping out on what gives it its succulent flavor. It's a great source of protein, greens, and for me, on a small bed of crispy basmati rice. Cooking is fun, and it's a big quality of life change I do not want to omit from my life, because cooking is a form of meditation for me.
Bravotv.com: Did you feel like you were being possessive of the gift bag items?
MJ: Other than sheer excitement, and a side of impatience, I'm not sure what came over me when we were looking through the gift bags. These kinds of things can only go two ways for me: slow and boring or fast, feisty, and fun! And I love me a high-end candle. A yummy, sexy way to create ambience.
Bravotv.com: How nervous were you to bring Charlie to meet your friends? Did he do a good job?
MJ: Yes, yes, yes, I was very nervous for Charlie to meet everyone tonight. I really wanted to make sure that the night was going to go smoothly for Charlie; that's all I had on my mind. It was up to me to keep everyone composed, classy, and cordial all the way through the last drop of the night. Why? Because we are such a tough crowd to bring new friends into and introduce new people. I think Charlie did a fine job, under the circumstances. My friends respected my wish to give this new love a chance.
