GG Reveals Everything She Eats in a Day, and It's Not What We Expected
The Shahs of Sunset star eats up to nine, yes, nine, full meals per day — and she says it has nothing to do with her pregnancy.
Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi is expecting a son in May, but her elaborate daily diet has nothing to do with pregnancy cravings. “I was eating like this before I was pregnant," the Shahs of Sunset cast member explains in the video above. "But now I have an excuse.”
With her first meal at 9 a.m., GG opts for rice, beef, steak, chicken, sandwiches, burgers, pizza, or, as she quips in the video: "Anything in front of me." While she doesn't necessarily set aside time for snacks, she explains that she has eight or nine full meals throughout the day, so "you can call some of them snacks."
Among those meals are what she describes as her "first dinner" at 5:00 p.m and her "second dinner" three hours later, when she'll eat "pasta, steak, anything." Noting the repetition from her breakfast selection, she explains: "It’s hard to be specific from morning to night. I’ll eat the same stuff.”
When the day is done, GG tries to avoid giving in to midnight food cravings, something she says she can achieve due to her bedroom being a floor above her kitchen. “The hardest thing is to not wake up in the middle of the night and go to the kitchen to eat,” she says, noting that if she did, “I would have chicken wing bones in my bed with me.”
While she makes it clear in the video above that there isn't much she won't eat, she does draw the line at Uni (the edible part of Sea Urchin.)
Maintaining such a diet may seem challenging on the body, but GG explains that it works for her because, as she puts it, “I have a great digestive system,” making it so she doesn't feel the need to watch her food intake. “I’ve never counted a calorie in my life,” she explains in the video. “I just know what Diet Coke is and that’s all I know about diets."
