Reza Farahan Reveals the Diet Helping Him Maintain His 50-Pound Weight Loss

The Shahs of Sunset cast member is a Keto diet and intermittent fasting convert — here's everything he eats in a day.

Reza Farahan recently shed a whopping 50 pounds, and that didn't happen by accident. The Shahs of Sunset haircare pro hits the gym regularly, and sticks to a carefully regimented eating plan that he laid out for BravoTV.com in the video above.

He starts his day off with an iced almond milk latte from Peet's, but skips grabbing a pastry while he's at the coffee shop. "No breakfast! I put a little Keto creamer in my coffee, and it holds me through 'til lunch," he shared. "This whole not eating breakfast thing is new for me, because I'm trying intermittent fasting in addition to the Keto." He added, "As a bitch gets older, it's harder and harder to lose weight. So I need to find new and exciting ways to kickstart my metabolism." 

At around 12:30, Reza finally digs into his first meal of the day. Lunch typically involves a protein, vegetables, or a salad with lots of avocado or cheese. For dinner, he has a pre-made meal as his last meal of the day (we saw a few of these when he gave us a peek inside the fridge). Every now and then, he'll also munch on some Keto-friendly snacks. 

So, how is the whole fasting thing? "The intermittent fasting is amazing, because it really does put your body into Ketosis a lot quicker," he reported, after noting that he'd seen a nutritionist before diving into his plan. Watch the video above to hear more about Reza's new lifestyle.
