For this year's hotly anticipated gathering, the cast channeled their softer side in heavenly ensembles.
When it comes to reunion fashion, Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi has a theory. Draped in an angelic tulle dress with crystal and sheer accents, GG told Bravo Insider backstage at the Shahs of Sunset Season 9 reunion taping: "I wanted to channel the positivity and wear white... When you dress dainty, you keep your personality dainty. When you dress like a bitch, you're going to be a bitch."
At the long-awaited meetup, the Shahs cast put GG's hypothesis to the test as the couches were awash in heavenly white ensembles peppered with select pops of color and (of course) plenty of statement bling. Destiney Rose stunned in a snowy corseted midi number, which she paired with an ultra-long wavy hairstyle. The end result, she said, was "a Persian goddess and a little Cher mixed into it." Also in ivory: Reza Farahan, who went all out in head-to-toe Fendi gear.
Meanwhile, Nema Vand — who told Bravo Insider, "I don't think I've ever worn this much white in my life" — topped his crisp button-down shirt and slacks with a blue blazer for a "summer Hamptons-y Miami Beach vibe." Mike Shouhed took the pop of color to the next level in a striking purple suit, which he accessorized with a large gold medallion from his grandfather.
In true Shahs form, Mercedes "MJ" Javid brought the golden glamour in a glittering frock — and a dazzling, decked-out ponytail braid, which was long enough to graze her knees. She dubbed it a "glitzy rocker boss" look, and we have to agree.
So, did the angelic-inspired attire keep the vibe on the couches completely peaceful? Doubtful — although you'll have to tune in to find out. In the meantime, scroll down for Bravo Insider's exclusive first look at the divine fashion from the Shahs of Sunset Season 9 reunion.
