Jonathan Antin Shares What Happened to His Hair Product Dirt
The Blowout and Shear Genius alum provided an update on his cult-classic texturing paste.
On the May 3 episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Andy chatted with six personalities from Bravo shows past — including one who gives a mean blow out.
Jonathan Antin, the celebrity hairstylist who appeared on Blowout and Shear Genius, was part of Andy's trip down memory lane. And after calling his well-coifed guest one of the "legendary hotheads in Bravo history," Andy asked Jonathan a question that was top of viewers' minds.
"I had this question that I wanted to ask you, and then I see all of our viewers did too," Andy said. "I miss Dirt! I can't find it anywhere. One of the greatest hair products of all time — put it back out, dude!" In case you missed it, Dirt was a texturing paste that was formerly under the Jonathan Products umbrella.
Jonathan responded: "Don't talk about Dirt! I sold the company. I'm making a new product that's 10 items better and it will be out eventually. It's taken years." Andy had just one request — OK, make that two.
