Patricia Altschul's Former NYC Apartment Is Just as Fabulous as You'd Imagine
The Southern Charm matriarch's old digs had another famous owner.
Patricia Altschul offers sumptuous glimpses of her home in Charleston to viewers, but the Southern Charm matriarch also has a storied New York City past that we can now envision a little bit better since she shared a picture of her former NYC apartment on Instagram.
"This is my old #newyork apartment at 960 Fifth which formally belonged to that iconic decorator Sister Parish," she wrote. Sister Parish was famous for designing interiors in the White House for Jackie Kennedy. "Needless to say it was decorated by #mariobuatta the Prince of Chintz." Buatta has also designed for the likes of Malcolm Forbes, Barbara Walters and Mariah Carey.
Can't you just picture the swanky parties she must have had on those checkered floors?
Zillow estimates that the penthouse suite of 960 Fifth Avenue is currently worth over $19 million, while regular old two-bedroom apartments are worth over $6 million.
