Who Is Thomas Ravenel's New Girlfriend Ashley Jacobs?
Get to know the new lady in the Southern Charm gent's life.
A new season of Southern Charm has begun, and A LOT has changed since we last caught up with the Charleston crew. Possibly most notable is the fact that nearly all of the couples from last season are no longer together, including Craig Conover and Naomie Olindo, Austen Kroll and Chelsea Meissner, and Danni Baird and her fiancé. Even J.D. Madison and his wife Elizabeth Madison have separated.
But this is not the case for Thomas Ravenel. The Southern Charm gent has gone through his own fair share of ups and downs in the past when it comes to love, but this season, he seems to be in one of the most stable relationships in this social circle (in addition to the new proud owner of a promise ring, Patricia Altschul, we might add).
Thomas introduced Southern Charm fans to his new girlfriend, Ashley Jacobs, in the Season 5 premiere (clip above), and we bet you're absolument dying to know more about her. All you have to do is look below for everything we know about Ashley so far.
She's Not from Charleston
Thomas' new boo doesn't hail from Charleston — or even the South. Ashley is a California girl originally from Santa Barbara (Montecito specifically). But now that she's moved to Charleston to be with Thomas, it looks like she's loving her new home.
Thomas and Ashley actually first met in a bar in California, he shared during the Southern Charm Season 5 premiere. He said that Ashley called him over, he "made a beeline there," and now the two have "been together ever since."
Ashley helps others for a living as a nurse, Thomas revealed on Southern Charm. She proudly posts photos of her profession on Instagram.
As Ashley gets to know Thomas' inner circle, she's gotten close to one friend in particular: Southern Charm alum Landon Clements. Ashley thinks that she and Landon could even be twins, and we'd have to agree!
Ashley's love of animals is clear from her Instagram, whether she's posing with this cute pug or taking epic photos on horseback, like the one above.
When you grow up somewhere as beautiful as the Golden State, you better believe you're going to enjoy it. Ashley often takes in the natural beauty of her state (and wherever she goes, really) by hiking or hanging at the beach.
Ashley loves to cheer on her favorite teams, whether it's at the Super Bowl or at a Los Angeles Dodgers game. Unfortunately, South Carolina has no major professional sports teams, but it already looks like she's a fan of Thomas' pastime, polo.
The Southern Charm Season 5 premiere has already teased that Ashley and Thomas' ex Kathryn C. Dennis might not exactly end on the best terms. Buckle up, and watch the preview, above.
