Chelsea Meissner Shares Incredible Before & After Pics from Her Kitchen Transformation
Years after renovating the room, the Southern Charm cast member is showing jaw-dropping before and after photos.
Chelsea Meissner's kitchen has the most chic island vibe. The most eye-catching feature of the updated space, that the Southern Charm cast member renovated in 2018, is the glazed light green thin-brick wall tile from Clay Imports that pops against the otherwise neutral parts of the room. In addition to the wall, Chelsea's choice to add cedar shelves and multiple plants to the room gives it a tropical feel.
"This tile took my [breath] away the first time I laid eyes on it," she wrote in a 2018 Instagram post showing off the renovation. "These handmade brick tiles take me to the Caribbean every time I walk into my kitchen."
While Chelsea previously had dark granite countertops in the room, she updated the space to boast sleek white quartz counters and matching white cabinets. While the room is incredibly light and airy, black state-of-the-art appliances and sconces add a chic touch to the area.
For another major pop of color, Chelsea traded a white refrigerator for an orange Smeg. The retro-style appliance is now surrounded by plants and a combination of classic wood and white furniture, which is a stark contrast to the dark cabinets that previously existed in the room.
Although she redid nearly every room in the home, buying the property was a no-brainer for Chelsea. “When I first pulled into the driveway and saw the massive oak trees draped in Spanish moss, I was sold,” Chelsea said in a 2018 interview. “I could tell the house had good bones. It just needed a little facelift (so I thought).”
With light wood furniture, plants throughout the home and leaf patterns splashed across multiple walls, many parts of the abode have a tropical feel as well.
