Southern Charm's Eliza Limehouse Elopes in a Stunning, Long-Sleeved Wedding Gown
The jewelry designer made a breathtaking bride in a delicate dress made of Chantilly lace and silk faille, with accessories from her own line.
They say when you know, you know — and Eliza Limehouse certainly did. When the Southern Charm alum started dating Mark "Struthers" McBride in April 2019, "I knew he was the man I was going to marry," she once said. "I’m not kidding you when I tell you, there were fireworks going off!" And before long, wedding plans were going on.
By February 2020, Eliza was wearing a "cool, funky" ring that Struthers had custom designed for her. And some eight months later, the jewelry designer was wearing a stunning, long-sleeved wedding gown at an event that only a few horses witnessed.
"Big Surprise!!!! We eloped...BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!" the Charleston native wrote, to caption an Instagram photo of herself and Struthers on their early October wedding day. She added: "My horses were our only guests, it still feels like a dream. Can’t wait to spend forever with you Struthers! God is so good."
Fittingly, Eliza's dress was a total dream, too. PEOPLE's exclusive photos show off the stunning design from Emily Kotarski. Named the Buckingham gown, the dress had a long-sleeve bodice made of Chantilly lace; its detachable train was silk chiffon. The dress also had a full, A-line ballgown skirt in silk faille.
Eliza completed her look with delicate earrings from her own collection. She styled her blonde locks in loose, lush curls covered with a cathedral-length veil. Click here to see the breathtaking photos.
