Kathryn Dennis Had a Pink, Barbie-Themed 6th Birthday for Kensie
Amid social distancing, the Southern Charm mom said of her daughter's birthday decor: "we did the best we could."
Kathryn Dennis' daughter Kensie turned 6 years old on March 24. And even though times are troubling and uncertain amidst the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the Southern Charm mother was determined to bring some birthday cheer to her little one's day. Kathryn's first order of business was to turn her Charleston home into Barbie's dream house for the evening
For the doll-inspired birthday bash, Kathryn herself channeled Barbie in a blush velvet wrap dress and glittering pink eyeshadow. In an Instagram share, she proved that the party's decor also reflected Barbie's signature hue.
The dining room table was covered a in hot pink cloth, and there were bubblegum-hued paper plates, straws, cups, and balloons. And to really bring the theme home, there was a festive, pink-fringed centerpiece showing Barbie herself.
In a caption accompanying the party pictures, Kathryn — who previously wrote about being self-quarantined with her kids — wrote: "Well we did the best we could for the best birthday girl ever. Happy Birthday baby."
