Leva Bonaparte Revealed That Two of Her Bars Have a Secret Door Between Them (VIDEO)
The Southern Charm hospitality pro shared a fun fact about a couple of the venues she owns.
Leva Bonaparte has some charming stories to tell, and some that are “not so charming.” In a recent Instagram post, the Charleston hospitality buff disclosed as much when she hinted that she was headed into an interview regarding the Season 9 premiere of Southern Charm, which is set to air on Bravo on Thursday, September 14, at 9/8c. (Catch a teaser in the clip above!) In her post, Leva revealed a “secret” fun fact about two of her venues, and we’re very, very intrigued.
But first, here’s a quick refresher on Leva’s hospitality empire. The bar boss and her husband, Lamar Bonaparte, own four of the hottest venues on Charleston’s King Street. These include Republic Garden & Lounge, which was the focus of Southern Hospitality. They also own Bourbon N’ Bubbles, Mesu, and Lamar’s Sporting Club.
Their hotspots are all different. Bourbon N’ Bubbles focuses on whiskey and champagne, as its name suggests, while Mesu serves up Mexican-sushi fusion. Meanwhile, Republic has quite the flashy nightlife scene, and Lamar’s Sporting Club is a high-end sports bar with a cozy interior decked in wood paneling and Chesterfield sofas. Though they all have different vibes, two of the venues have something that connects them.
Leva Bonaparte opens up about her clubs’ “secret door”
In her Instagram post, Leva shared a video that showed her and some of her Southern Charm castmates opening a door that’s disguised as a bookshelf. The door, which was presumably in Lamar’s Sporting Club, opened into a brightly lit space in Bourbon N’ Bubbles.
In her caption, Leva wrote: “Hmmmm coming through the secret door from [Lamar’s Sporting Club] to [Bourbon N’ Bubbles] to chat about some charming moments and not so charming moments coming at ya next week! It was a wild one.”
From what we can see in the clip above, it looks like the whole season is going to be a bit of a wild ride.
