The Southern Charm-er married Brett Randle in November 2022, and while she often gushes about her husband, she shared even more details on how her life has changed for the better following her nuptials on Season 9 Episode 2 of the show.

"I just won yard of the month two months in a row. Now that I'm married, I like to play house," she said in an episode interview. "So if it's making pot roast, if it's gardening, if it's nesting in the home, you know, I know what I'm doing."

Earlier in the episode, Madison was catching up with her mom via FaceTime when her mom said, "I think you're doing really good, being a wife," and Madison sweetly responded, "Thank you. It's been my favorite job so far."

Although Madison hasn't always loved to cook, her mom noted that had changed in recent months. "All the cooking you're doing, I'm really impressed," she said. "But I know where you got it from. I will teach you how to make the best cornbread. It's all about the pan."

While Madison has been making some impressive meals lately, she admitted to her mom, "I have made [Brett] Hamburger Helper once or twice. I'm not gonna lie."

Madison has shared a look at some of the food she's made for Brett over the last several months, including collard greens and a snack spread to watch football, but there's one meal that didn't exactly go according to plan.

"Funny story," Madison shared in an episode interview. "I made a pot roast for Brett. My pot roast is really good. He sat there, ate, left all the carrots around, and then I was like, 'Oh my god, he's allergic to f-cking carrots.'"

However, Madison shared, "He didn't complain one time. It was so nice."

During the Season 9 premiere, which aired on September 14, Madison shared more about how she feels she's changed since getting married. "I want to make sure that every time Brett comes home, he feels like I've made it special," she explained. "I'm not kidding you right now, but I'm trying to be Martha Stewart. Like, that is my goal...Madison is different these days."

Madison LeCroy and Brett Randle's living situation

Madison shared on the Season 9 premiere that because of Brett's Job as a chief firefighter, he often travels to California. “He’s gone for about three days,” she said. “Home for eight.” However, she recently explained, that doesn't mean she and her husband live separately.

“Let me just jump on here and clarify this,” Madison said during an Amazon Live on September 14. “So, my husband and I — I don’t know how this got twisted — we’re not long-distance, OK? He literally just travels for work.”

“So this is his home,” she continued. “This is where we live. This is our full-time residence. He just goes to work just like everybody [else’s] husband that works out of town, and then he comes right home.”
