Patricia Altschul Designed Koala & Kangaroo Socks to Aid Australia's Wildlife
Proceeds from the Southern Charm designer's new collection will support wildlife affected by Australia's devastating bushfires.
Animals are a big part of Patricia Altschul's fashion brand, Patricia's Couture — many of her pieces are inspired by wildlife. Now, Patricia is lending a helping hand to our furry pals in need: The Southern Charm matriarch has added two adorable new products to her line for a very special cause.
Her new Socks for Australia collection will support the kangaroo and koala species, which have been greatly affected by the devastating wild bushfires sweeping across Australia. The socks include two new super cute designs. The first: a pair of light blue socks covered in a lovable koala-print. The second: a pair of yellow socks featuring charming kangaroos. For every pair of socks sold, a donation will be made to either the Port Macquarie Koala Hospital or the Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park.
Both socks are available in men's and women's sizes and retail for $25 each.
According to the brand, the socks have already drawn in an overwhelming response, and Patricia is "really touched" by how people are coming together to help.
According to the University of Sydney, more than 1 billion mammals have been killed or affected by the fires, including thousands of koalas and kangaroos.
